The CogniCare Center is looking for a committed and motivated occupational therapist (f/m/x) from November 2023 to join our team in the area of children and young people at the CogniCare Center. Our center specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities. We offer a modern facility with innovative therapy concepts and well-equipped therapy rooms, a diverse and interesting range of tasks as well as inspiring collaboration in an interdisciplinary team.


Your tasks:

  • You work independently and responsibly to develop and implement individual therapy plans for children and young people with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disorders and neurological diseases.
  • You support our patients in improving their independence and quality of life by promoting their motor, sensory and cognitive abilities
  • You design therapy sessions in both individual and group sessions to ensure the best possible support for our patients.
  • Documenting therapy progress and creating therapy reports are also part of your area of responsibility.
  • You bring in your creativity and expertise to actively shape and continually improve the therapeutic offering.

Your qualifications and characteristics:

  • You have completed training as an occupational therapist and are registered in the health professions register.
  • Recognition (nostrification) for applicants from abroad is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of German at level B2 enables smooth communication and documentation.
  • Professional experience in the relevant field is an advantage, but motivated career starters are also welcome.
  • You will have initial experience in child and youth work as well as relevant additional qualifications that complement your expertise.
  • You are characterized by a willingness to continue training and further education, as you are always interested in expanding your knowledge.
  • Your high social skills and empathy enable you to work successfully with children, young people and their families.
  • Initiative, creativity and the ability to work independently are a given for you.
  • High communication skills and professional appearance.

Our range:

  • Start of employment in October 2023.
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week) with an attractive salary of €3,097.47 gross (40 hours/week). If you have the appropriate qualifications, experience, competence and performance, we are prepared to overpay a salary that is in line with the market.
